Housing Assistance
Stable housing is the foundation for every other step a veteran takes toward recovery, employment, and peace of mind. Our Housing Assistance program is built from our own family's experience of suddenly needing safe, accessible shelter and not knowing where to turn. We now stand beside others who have served so they do not have to face that same fear and confusion alone.
We begin by listening—understanding your current living situation, income, health needs, and timelines. From there, we walk you through realistic options and create a step-by-step plan to protect your housing today while working toward greater stability tomorrow. Our Rental Assistance support is available for $25 and can include guidance on available rental assistance resources, referrals to community partners, and advocacy when speaking with landlords or agencies.
Housing Application Support is available for $10 and is designed to make the application process easier to navigate. We sit with you to complete applications, explain what each question means, help organize required documents, and follow up on submissions. Our goal is not just to submit paperwork, but to help you move through the process with greater clarity and confidence.
We also understand that rent is only part of the struggle. Utility Assistance is available for $20, helping you connect with programs that may ease the burden of essential bills such as electricity, gas, or water so you can keep your home safe, lit, and livable.
For those facing immediate displacement, our Emergency Housing Support focuses on rapid response. We help identify urgent shelter options, temporary stays, or crisis-based programs and act as an advocate as you navigate those calls and appointments. In every situation, we stay with you—step by step—until there is a clearer, safer next place to lay your head.
